The Port St. Joe Star has delivered news and information to Port St. Joe and the greater Gulf County community since 1937, twelve years after the founding of Gulf County and a year before the St. Joe Paper Company’s paper mill opened its doors.
In 2021, the newspaper was purchased by Neves Media Publishing out of Panama City, who committed to preserving the newspaper’s print edition and expanding their digital operations.
